Facebook To Bring Free Internet Access To India For Reliance Customers
Facebook CEO Mark Zukerberg and Chief Executive of Reliance Gurdeep Singh announced to provide free internet access to particular website for Reliance users.
There are around 33 Popular website that are allowed to access free which include social media, education, knowledge,jobs and search engine such as bing.
Gurdeep Singh Chief Executive of Reliance said, there are about 75 percent of people in India are not using internet. We are very happy to provide free internet access with Facebook to encourage the people to access the internet to gain knowledge.
The free access include Facebook, OLX, Bing, Timesjob, ESPN Cricket info for free in many states including Mumbai, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh. Tamil Nadu and Kerala.
The Chief Executive Gudeep Singh said the plan will be announced very soon and it will take more than 90 days for each state.
To increase the accessibility of accessing the internet all over the world, we are joining together with other companies to bring people to the internet world said, Mark Zukerberg Founder of Facebook.
Reliance Customers can access all the free website listed above for free in upcoming moths the plan was still in progress everyone will be intimated when the plan launch by the telecom operator.
Voice President of Internet.Org "Chris Daniels" said Facebook is looking for more partners with telecom operators in many countries to increase the popularity of internet and moreover bring everyone to internet.
