Nestle Maggi Banned In India For MSG Level Is High

Recently Nestle has been facing a big problem in their products especially maggi. One of most popular food and snacks producing company in india has facing a poor food quality in their products. Now in Delhi they were tested the maggi noodles for food safety and found MSG is high.

The Nestle was already producing chocolates such as milkybar etc. it was one the top most company in india producing food factor. Now its facing more problems under some conditions.

out of 13 package 10 package has high MSG so the food authority has said to test all the package all over the india and they have given a temporary ban for 15 days.

People advice is not to buy maggi for next 15 days until they get the proper explanation for excess level of MSG. They also said the tests were conducting all over the india and they were getting the results one by one.




Nestle gets 15 billion as a annual revenue and now they have lost 10 % of the market share in Bombay after Delhi banned the maggi.

Nestle India said that they are not adding MSG to maggi due to some ingredients, MSG is commonly used in chinese food and here that has not been added to any maggi package. But the test says the MSG levels are high and is not safe to eat.

Most of the states including Tamil Nadu, Goa, Haryana, Gujarat, Karnataka were send the noodles for testing purpose. The testing include both internal laboratory testing and external laboratory testing, said in the statement.

Everyone stop eating noodles for next 15 days until we get the clear explanation for this problem and tell us in comment what you think.
